Aberystwyth is a much photographed town. The newspapers often carry images of happy holiday makers wallowing in the waves, sumptuous skies at sunset, or, in the winter months,  waves crashing over the prom, and of course, the swooping starlings, dipping and diving down to their roost under the pier.  I prefer to take different approach, and look at the people - Locals, visitors, and students who make up the town's seasonally fluctuating population.
